We are proud to celebrate talented QPS student artists recently recognized by the prestigious Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards have a long-standing reputation for identifying and honoring creative young minds in the visual arts.

We are especially proud of Quincy High School senior Ibrahim Yacouty who earned a Gold Key Award for his comic art, "A Symphony in Colors" (pictured below.)

Image shows three frames of comic art as submitted by Ibrahim Yacouty. The frames depict a story about an older, lonely man befriending a cat and finding joy in caring for it.

North Quincy High School students Natasha Chieng,  Galayna Willis, and Lily Chen were also recognized for their submissions. Natasha's "Snip + Save" earned a Silver Key Award, while Galayna's "Self Image" and Lily's "Chasing Hope" each received Honorable Mentions.

The entire QHS community extends our congratulations to these students for their well-deserved recognition. We are grateful for their contributions to our visual arts program!
