The MIAA has approved the following sports for the Spring season in accordance with the latest EEA guidelines:

  • Baseball
  • Softball
  • Lacrosse
  • Tennis
  • Boys Volleyball
  • Outdoor Track & Field
  • Girls Golf
  • Sailing
  • Wrestling

The first official day of practice for these sports will be Monday, April 26, 2021.

All requirements below must be completed in order to be eligible to participate on the first day:

1) Register on FamilyID - All athletes must be signed-up under the Spring registration in order to participate. Follow this link: https://www.familyid.com/organizations/quincy-high-school

2) Physical - All athletes must have an up-to-date physical on file with the nurses' office in order to participate. Physicals are valid within the last 13 months. Please feel free to email in a copy to the Athletic Director and/or the Quincy High School nurses.

3) ImPACT Test - All athletes are required to complete the baseline concussion testing through ImPACT Testing, Inc. If you have already taken the test, then you are all set. If you have not taken the test before, you must complete it before practice starts. The test is either administered here at the school by the Athletic Director or Athletic Trainer or we will email a link to the exam which would be completed at home in a quiet setting.

4) Academics - The QPS academic policy reads "a student may not have more than one failing grade during the last marking period preceding the contest." A passing grade is a 63. Quarter 3 report card grades will determine the eligibility for the Spring season.

5) User Fees - All user fees should be paid before the first scheduled contest. All Spring sports are $100 except Lacrosse which is $150.
